One reply on “Legalism Can’t Work – Judges; Leadership”

Excellent display of understanding the pitfalls of legalism as it relates to our aim of Holiness. Too many people try to earn their salvation through doing good, Godly, things or by not doing bad, earthly, rebellious things. That can quickly become the basis of our faith if we are not careful… even seasoned Christians…
A teaching point you could add at another point in your schedule is the key principle of “Positional” Sanctification vs “Progressive” Sanctification — and the power and purpose of the new covenant that we enter into with God By Grace alone, through Faith alone, IN CHRIST ALONE!
Oh, what a joy it is to understand that we are made Holy, made righteous, by Christ’s Merit and not our own. BUT, then we honor and worship God through our desire to be more like Christ and to “Be Holy, because He is Holy”.
Once again great job on the text! Instructive and encouraging!

Proud of you Daniel, keep it up.
1 Cor. 15:58
